Hurn
Cloudy in the morning,
with good weather in the afternoon. Operations were scrubbed for
the day. Flying for this day consisted of air to ground firing,
cannon tests in formation and dusk flying. Dusk flying was done
in Wing Formation and this type of flying was practiced by our
Squadron for the first time in which eight aircraft
participated. F/O Monson proceeded to Basingetake Neurological
Hospital to have his nose X-rayed as a result of a bang on the
nose in a softball game following which he will commence his
leave.
