Ayr,
Ayrshire, Scotland
C.A.V.U
(Clear Air Visibility Unlimited) and seven aircraft serviceable
that allowed all pilots with previous Hurricane time to get away
on their No. 1 Sector Reconnaissance. Some of the landings were
fairly rough but for the most part everything went very well.
F/O Thomas admitted to the hospital with a severe cold. It was
decided to check pilots with no previous Hurricane time, out on Miles
Master the first good day.
