It
rained fairly consistently all day, clearing up at night. No
operations were carried out. Our power tender was taken away for
an overhaul which leaves the Squadron without electricity. The
Squadron was released from operations at 14:00 hrs. for the
remainder of the day which gave pilots and groundcrew an
opportunity to visit local Army and Air Force Units, go swimming
and concentrate on their laundry.
