Today
was spent very quietly with most of the pilots just sitting
around. During the afternoon W/C Marples, S/L Kelly, S/L Grant
and 5 pilots of 438 Squadron paid Wellingore a visit. S/L Kelly
(our Acting C.O.) stayed and got right to work organizing the
Squadron. Our crews arrived at 1830 hours from Bournemouth, and
F/O Hoggs rejoined the Squadron after leave. F/O's Thomas and
Porritt rejoined us last night.
