Cloudy
all morning with light precipitation which continued throughout
the day. We have been advised that 143 Wing including the
squadrons will not proceed to B.32 St. Laurent due to the fact
that the landing strip is incomplete. The new location to which
"A" Party proceeds to-morrow is B.24 southeast of St.
Andre de l'Eure which has concrete runways. Our Squadron is
scheduled to leave on the 31st August. F/L Fiset "B"
Flight Commander took a trip to our new site via
"Typhie" to investigate and report the location of
dispersals and state of the runways.
