September 1944
R.C.A.F.
St. Andre, France
Cloudy
all day with scattered showers at night. The early morning was
absorbed in clearing sites for our tents, shaving and cleaning
up a bit after our move from Lantheuil to B.24 St. Andre, which
is between Evreux and Dreux. Although operations were on the
agenda late in the afternoon, they were scrubbed. The bomb line
is getting beyond "Typhie" range, and we don't expect
further operations until moving to a drome closer to the bomb
line.
