Low
heavy cloud in the morning that portended rain which eventually came
after lunch in the way of cold drizzling and discouraging showers. As
a result the Squadron did not operate today. Everywhere is mud, but
even so, lot of our airmen were out hauling lumber from the blitzed
hangars and buildings and in the process of building themselves small
huts. The 150 temporary buildings which were going to be provided have
not materialized so the old proverb "he who hesitates is
lost" is being observed.
