Holland
The
weather was discouraging the whole day with intermittent cold drizzle
throughout the day. Padre Perkins who has taken over from Padre
Ashford (Protestant) gave his first sermon in the Airmen's Mess. Padre
Ashford has finally bid adieu to this Wing and is on his way to
Canada. A new pilot arrived at our Squadron this morning. J36997 F/O
Anderson, of Bekville,
Alberta. No operations were carried out today. F/O J. Stitt proceeded
to England this morning to pick up a new Typhoon for the Wing.
