The
weather was fair and mild in the morning with a light ground haze, as
usual closing in towards the afternoon. No flying time was logged
today whatsoever, nevertheless, the time was spent in servicing of
aircraft, reading, playing cards and improving the interior of the
pilots crew room. F/O Bob Laurence with a little assistance, built a
wooden toilet that will be a luxury surrounded by sack cloth. All 16
aircraft are serviceable today except for one which is undergoing an
engine change.
