Webmaster's
note: This entry is very difficult to decipher so please bear with me.
Heavy
low cloud all day with a light haze and frost, consequently all flying
was scrubbed. There was a little snow in the afternoon that later
turned to rain. A buzz-bomb was heard flying past the dispersal in the
early afternoon heading westward and flashes could be seen from its
exhaust. Other explosions were heard during the day, presumably as a
result of buzz -bombs. Our pilots came back from Vokel, a frigid
looking lot, by truck. All nine aircraft were serviceable today.
