Our
first mail arrived, giving all personnel a great lift in morale.
Parachutes were issued, and all kits were loaded for the trip
tomorrow. All personnel except S/L Smith and F/L Kelly will
travel by train. The two Squadron Leaders will bring the
aircraft up as soon as possible. F/O Leigh and nine Other Ranks
left for Ayr as an Advance Party. Some Parachute and Signals
personnel taken off establishment (TOE)
and left in Wellingore.
