Station Hurn, Bournemouth, England
An
escape lecture was given to all pilots of the Wing by F/L
Philpetts, RAF, of Coastal Command. It lasted from 1000 hrs.
until 1230 hrs. & was one of the most interesting lectures
that we have ever received.
The
Winco took up a Squadron of Typhoons at 1600 hrs. He had
previously taken 438 & 440 Squadrons, and ours was, without
a doubt, the best.
