returned off leave to find himself posted away from us.
"Nick" hurriedly packed up so he could leave with the
other four fellows. It was hard to say "Au Revoir" but
it was carried out at last in the afternoon. A number of our
pilots had their first Auster flip. It is a dinky little job, but
with bags of speed that is hard to kill off for a landing. Quite a
treat to fly it! This evening the Airfield Officers had a party
with many beautiful damsels attending - a good time was had by
all.
