Col(H) Ross Gaudreault, CLJ

Born in Quebec and raised in Cap-de-Madelaine, Ross Gaudreault completed his studies in business administration at the University of Sherbrooke. He joined the Irving Group where after 26 years he was appointed as Director General for the province of Quebec.

In 1987 he was named to the presidency of the Quebec Port Authority as Director where he instilled and fostered a climate of dynamic changes focused on client needs. Setting the company's priorities on diversification, he obtained enviable results especially in bulk shipping of mining and chemical products and cruise ships.

An ardent volunteer and patron of charitable organisations, Mr. Gaudreault is a Commander in the Military Order of Saint Lazurus of Jerusalem., President of the Infant Jesus Hospital Foundation and the Saint Augustin Hospital Foundation. He also serves on the executive committee of the Quebec and the Saint Joseph de la Rive Maritime Museum. He is currently vice president of the American Association of Port Authorities and also its president of its Cruise Committee.

Col(H) Ross Gaudreault has two children: Bernard and Marie-France.
