Honorary Colonel Grimard has been a long standing proponent of
effective leadership reflected in his highly subscribed blog “Le Manager
Urbain” and sales of his co-written motivational book for managers
titled “Cessez d’être bon, devenez excellent!” He also lectures on the
subjects of perseverance and the pursuit of the attitude of excellence.
Honorary Colonel Grimard is engaged in a number of community
activities and committees including the Council for the Advancement of
Administrative Science at the University of Laval and on the Executive
Committee as President of the Office of Governors with the Young Chamber
of Commerce of Quebec.
He is also engaged with charitable organisations including the United
Way/Centraide, Mobilisation Vanier and is involved with the Forces as
speaker for Mission Entreprendre, a training program dedicated to all
military personnel wanting to start up their own business, and also as a
mentor for serviceman by the intervention of Futurpreneur. He is also a
member of the Board of Directors of the Fondation des amis de
l'Aviation royale du Canada and Knight of the Order of Malta and the
Order of St. John of Jerusalem,
Honorary Colonel Grimard and his family practice martial arts and reside in Lac-Beauport, QC.
