.... ours. In September 1944, this Sterling landed in rough shape with a flat tire, one engine shot off,  and the wing and tail turret full of bullet holes. and a large hole right through the painted eagle just below the cockpit.  Miraculously the aircrew escaped with only one member sustaining minor injury to his hand.
