Tiger Meets

All photos are from 439 Sqn archives unless otherwise indicated.

A new name and a new role. Here we have a CH-118 Iroquois helicopter painted in a Tiger scheme to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the RCAF in 1994.

Since then, no 439 aircraft have sported a Tiger Skin. But beware, for no matter what pongo paint job you put on the outside, underneath there still beats the heart of  a Tiger.

And who knows, maybe 439 will set a new precedent again by hosting North America's first full blown Tiger Meet. Till then

Tiger! Tiger! (Fangs of Death)
