Cold

Sitting on a cold night
streets are lonely
Tell me that I'm not right
but freedom has it's price

This ain't the way I wanted
But now my bridges are burning
I'd rather die than say I'm wrong
I'll show you all

Hey buddy can you spare a dime?
It's dog eat dog and I'm loosing
I'm not like any of them
I'm going somewhere

So maybe I don't follow rules
Does that make me all bad?
It's either my way or the highway
so here I am

It's like I don't exist
No one even cares
Second thoughts and chances
can't help anymore

Hey buddy can you spare a dime?
It's dog eat dog and I'm loosing
I'm not like any of them
I'm going somewhere

Hey buddy can you spare some time?
I'm tired of sleeping in the mud
I've lost my money but not my pride
But maybe things weren't that bad...

WEBMASTER'S NOTES: Although not poetry in the true sense of the word, it is none-the-less very poetic. Richard wrote the words, and his friend and fellow band member Eric Tessier wrote the music. You can hear this track  and others by clicking .
