To put Dan's bass playing ability into two words I'd have to say THE BEST bass player I've ever jammed with. Unlike boring basslines that mimic the guitar, Dan's bass lines add a whole new dimention to a song I never anticipated while writing. I couldnt imagine Empty Lies without his exact bass line.

Fast walking basslines in a true punk style is Dan's forté. I can rip off a quick solo and still not be able to play the things he does.

His musical influences include NOFX and ... uh... a bunch of other punk bands i dont know...

When he re-joined Dark in November, he had recently broken his finger, and was unsure if he would ever play bass again. Thankfully enough, he's almost fully recovered from that injury and it hardly effects his playing if at all.
