To mark the 25th anniversary of the Squadron and  the presentation of  439's Standard by his Royal Highness Prince Phillip,  CF 104770  served as the Squadron's Tiger Bird  in 1972 at the Tiger Meet hosted by France's EC 1/12 at Cambrai.

This same aircraft also served as the Tiger Bird in 1973 and 1975, but with a different paint scheme.
