No major incidents occurred throughout the operation, and Leapfrog I terminated at 1735 on the 15 June 1952, when the last aircraft landed at 1735 hrs at No. 1 Fighter Wing North Luffenham, England. After 16 days on the ground and in the air 439 Squadron was greeted by G/C Hale DFC.  The feelings of the weary Tigers was summed up by one pilot who stated  "Our morale is at an all time high and our finances at an all time low."
